Frequently Asked Questions
Wraps, slings, baby carriers ... what's the difference?
There are lots of different carriers on the market today, such as slings, wraps, front packs, carriers, and so much more, each made to suit different lifestyles!
The baby wrap suits any lifestyle and is by far the most comfortable choice of all baby carriers out there. It takes some time to get used to, which is the draw to other styles of carriers, but once you get used to the baby wrap, the comfort, ability to grow with baby, and ability to share the same wrap with your partner you will agree the baby wrap is the best choice.
The wrap uses both shoulders, as well as your back, to carry the weight of your baby. A sling only uses one shoulder. Both come with no stretch, some stretch, or full stretch. We recommend the full stretch for optimal comfort for both you and baby.
Most front packs and carriers have narrow straps, buckles, or rings, which often cause discomfort.
