Homemade powdered laundry detergent
- 3oz/90g 100% Pure Coconut bar soap
- 1 cup Washing Soda
- 3/4 cup Borax
- 1/4 cup Baking Soda
- 5-10 drops Essential Oil (optional)
Step 1: Grate entire bar of natural 100% pure coconut soap using very fine grater.
Step 2: Thoroughly stir all ingredients together for 10 minutes. Keep mixing until all ingredients are thoroughly blended so you do not end up with a tablespoon of just one of the ingredients in your washing machine. It will not harm your clothes, but it will not be as cleaning either. Add your favorite essential oil, if desired.
Step 3: Use 1 tbsp per load.
1 – 2 tablespoons for heavily soiled loads.
